1. What the App does (and doesn’t)
AI Bill Splitter helps you capture restaurant/bill information and split costs among people. We use
AI to extract and structure information from noisy text and receipts, but AI can make mistakes. The
App’s outputs are assistance only and not financial advice. You must review, edit, and verify all
results before acting on them.
2. Your responsibilities
– You are responsible for the accuracy of any data you enter or upload (including free text and
receipts).
– You must verify totals, item allocations, and per-person amounts before payment or settlement.
– You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes or to infringe any rights.
3. No professional advice; no liability for AI errors
Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or ambiguous due to OCR/ASR limitations and model
behaviour. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Bill Splitter and its creators disclaim any
liability for errors, losses, or damages arising from reliance on AI-generated data or calculations.

protected.
5. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any
disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
